Listed next to each bot type is whether it is Gen or Velic, and whether or not they collect goods/contraband [ (G) for Gen, (V) for Velic, (S) for Salvagers ] Killing Gen bots makes you Velic, and killing Velic bots makes you Gen. Keep an eye on the graph above your name in the stat viewer-- the closer the pointer is to the green/tealy thingy, the more Gen you are, and the closer it is to the red, the more Velic you are. Bots that salvage will drop what they have picked up when you kill them. Where your home is depends on your status. Velic people cannot enter the Gen Zone. You can sell this to Smuggler bots & on Forbidden Zone planets. The better the smuggler's ship, the better the prices should be. But keep in mind - the prices vary by quite a bit, so check prices before selling, if something's low, you can try another bot. *Smugglers now drop contraband .. I'll figure out the default amounts soon. These guys take a lot of power to kill, so it's not always worth it. The FZ guys that don't pay you are the ones that salvage, and that adds into their drop count, but I don't know if they have a max hold. They reach every inch of FZ, and only attack in defense. Popping them gives you 400 contraband + whatever they've picked up (I don't know the max yet). Endymion Freighters: Col Saff Col Jibus Col Diog Col Diuf Col Foius Col Pav Col Jasr Col Hio Col Vios Col Phen (V)Shape Shifter: 10 bots Aggressive AI from which you salvage contraband. They take on a new form (err.. ship) after each time they are popped. The ship is random and can be anything from a Zephyr seeker to Erinyes behemoth. They cover the upper right section of FZ, around Endy Station. It's suggested that you hunt with at least 1 other person (you can hunt them alone - but it's expensive & dangerous:). The best place to hunt from is Helliathin (least nodes to planet), and second Dysilica. There's a small % chance to salvage a ship from these, something like 5%. Or less now. Hehehe... There's a 1:6 chance when popping one that you'll salvage an Andros ship. They aren't something you'll want to fight alone. It's possible for an mk2 errymoth to be popped by just 2 or 3 of these in one node. Well anyways, they only give exp until 2800, so many people rely on Gate Keepers for the ships & exp.
